GRS government reaffirms commitment to public welfare and development

SANDAKAN: The Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) state government remains dedicated to advancing the well-being and interests of its people, ensuring their needs are consistently addressed.

Datuk Hazem Mubarak Tun Musa, State Assemblyman for Sungai Manila, emphasized that the government actively listens to community concerns and is working to uplift living conditions through targeted programs and support initiatives.

He stressed that the GRS administration prioritizes the people’s welfare and is determined to ensure no one is left behind when facing challenges.

“The government is fully focused on serving the public and remains deeply committed to improving quality of life,” he said.

Hazem made the remarks during the Land Reserve Handing Over Ceremony for Native Children in Kampung Sungai Batang on Wednesday.

He explained that ongoing development efforts and assistance schemes are designed to raise living standards and ensure equitable access to progress across all communities.

The state government, he added, is actively seeking solutions to persistent local issues, particularly in areas like Kampung Sungai Batang.

“Concerns raised by residents here are being taken seriously. We are working to resolve key issues such as water supply, drainage, and road access—essential services that directly impact daily life,” he noted.

“These matters are currently under review, and I have directed relevant departments and agencies to collaborate on effective, long-term solutions,” he said.

Hazem reiterated his role as the elected representative of Sungai Manila, pledging continued efforts to drive development and address community needs.

“As the ADUN, I remain committed to advancing the welfare of my constituents and will ensure that every concern is met with timely and practical action,” he affirmed.
