KOTA KINABALU: People of various races and religions in Sabah are urged to uphold the unity and harmony currently enjoyed.
In making this call, the Deputy Chairman of Sawit Kinabalu Sdn Bhd and Borneo Samudera Sdn Bhd, Datuk Victor P. Paut, stated that happiness and peace are essential foundations for achieving a prosperous and peaceful life.
In this regard, he, who is also the Head of the PGRS Tambunan Division, invites the public to use the Aidiladha celebration as a means to spread love, forgiveness, and to strengthen relationships among family, friends, and relatives.
“May every prayer we offer on this blessed day bring goodness and blessings into our lives.
“Although this celebration is specifically for followers of Islam, celebrating it together has been a practice for all of us throughout the ages,” he said in a message for Aidiladha 2026.
According to Victor, Aidiladha is the best day for everyone to reflect and improve themselves.
“Aidiladha is also a very special time for all Muslims around the world, including in our country, especially in Sabah, where it reminds us of the meaning of sacrifice and patience,” he said
Victor also expressed his greetings for Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha to all Muslims in this state.
