KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Chief Minister’s Chief Political Secretary, Datuk Azrul Ibrahim, has urged two state assemblymen from Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (STAR) to clarify their participation in a recent Kaamatan event that also included Warisan Party president Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal.
He noted that their presence alongside Shafie has sparked public questions, particularly given that both lawmakers are part of the ruling state coalition.
Azrul stressed that these assemblymen hold roles vital to maintaining the unity and stability of the state administration.
“A clear and straightforward explanation is crucial to maintain the public’s confidence in the integrity and stability of the state government,” he said in a statement today.
Azrul added that both representatives should also publicly express their stance to prevent any misinterpretation of their commitment and political loyalty to the current government

KOTA KINABALU: Chief Political Secretary to the Chief Minister of Sabah, Datuk Azrul Ibrahim, has called on two members of the State Assembly (ADUN) from the Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (STAR) to explain their attendance at an event (Kaamatan)also attended by the President of the Warisan Party, Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal.
He said this situation has raised questions and concerns among the public, considering that both leaders are representatives aligned with the state government.
He emphasized that the two ADUNs have been entrusted with the responsibility to uphold the stability and solidarity of the Sabah state government.
