KOTA KINABALU: The assemblypersons from Parti Warisan Sabah have refuted claims that they have received funding from the government, as circulated on social media.
In a joint statement, they described the allegations as malicious slander aimed at tarnishing the reputation of opposition representatives.
According to the statement, the dissemination of false information is viewed as a tactic to incite the public and undermine trust in them.
In this regard, they warned the involved parties to immediately cease the spread of such false information.
They also emphasised that they will consider legal action against anyone who continues to propagate these slanders.
