KOTA KINABALU: POIC Sabah SDN Bhd has presented a donation and loan repayment totaling RM4.17 million to the Sabah State Government during a ceremony at Menara Kinabalu on Wednesday.
The cheque replica handover was witnessed by the Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Panglima Hajiji Noor.
This amount includes a donation of RM2 million to the State Government and a Federal loan repayment of RM2.17 million for the year 2025.
The cheque replica was handed over by the new Chairman of POIC Sabah, Datuk Seri Wilfred Madius Tangau, to the Deputy Permanent Secretary of State Finance, Chen Shok Ting.
This contribution is seen as a demonstration of POIC Sabah’s commitment to supporting the development and finances of the state.
