Anak Jati Sabah
Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) leaders have once again paraded themselves as champions of MA63. But beneath the speeches and self-praise lies a painful truth: Sabahans are still being deceived, denied, and short-changed. Their so-called “successes” are nothing but diversions from failure.
60 Years of Waiting, Still No Justice
For more than six decades, Sabahans have waited for the restoration of rights guaranteed under MA63. Yet under GRS, what have we received? Token payments, interim promises, and excuses — while our rightful entitlements remain stolen.
GRS boasts of interim payments of RM125.6 million in 2022, RM300 million in 2023, and RM600 million in 2024. But let us be very clear:
Sabah’s rightful 40% net revenue entitlement under Article 112C & 112D is worth RM7.2 billion annually (based on federal revenue of RM18 billion in Sabah in 2022).
What we received — RM600 million — is less than 9% of what belongs to Sabah.
These are not rights restored. They are crumbs thrown at Sabahans to silence our voices.
Promises Broken, Rights Betrayed
To this day, GRS has failed to secure:
The 40% revenue entitlement owed since 1963.
A fair share of petroleum revenues and control over oil & gas.
Borneonisation of the civil service.
Autonomy in education and health, as Sarawak has already taken.
Protection of native land rights, which are still being eroded.
Full immigration control under Annex B of MA63.
Instead of defending Sabah, GRS bows down and betrays our sovereignty.
Immigration Betrayal: PTI Crisis Out of Control
Annex B of MA63 gave Sabah powers over immigration to safeguard its sovereignty. Yet what do we see today?
Over 800,000 undocumented migrants (PTI) in Sabah, nearly 20% of our population.
The Project IC scandal permanently scarred our demography.
Federal agencies continue issuing dubious documents to non-citizens.
Borders remain porous.
GRS remains silent, submissive, and complicit. This is not progress. It is betrayal.
Sarawak Moves Forward, Sabah Left Behind
While Sarawak rises with dignity — Petros collecting billions in petroleum sales tax, establishing its own education & health ministries, asserting equal partnership — Sabah under GRS is reduced to begging for “interim crumbs.”
The contrast is glaring: Sarawak is a partner, Sabah under GRS is a colony.
Warisan’s 26-Month Track Record
When Warisan led the state (May 2018 – Sept 2020), tangible reforms were delivered in just 26 months:
Governance: Abolished the corrupt concessionaire system; placed MACC officers in CM’s Office.
Land & Native Rights: Distributed thousands of native titles, abolished communal titles, recognised NCR.
Oil & Gas: Negotiated higher revenues with Petronas, established SMJ Energy, asserted state rights.
Education & Health: Expanded rural hostels, upgraded clinics, scholarships, free education for B40.
Economy & Agriculture: Kickstarted industrial zones, agro-industries, empowered SMEs.
Tourism & Environment: Record arrivals, direct flights, eco-tourism, conservation areas.
MA63: Pushed 17 of 21 Sabah demands — more than any government before or since.
This is the clear difference: Warisan delivers, GRS distracts.
Defectors Betrayed Their Oath
The defection of the Kunak and Banggi assemblymen is not just a betrayal of Warisan. It is a betrayal of Sabah’s dignity, MA63, and the oath they swore before Allah and the people. They now stand exposed as traitors without honour — complicit in GRS’ surrender of Sabah’s future.
Conclusion: Enough Lies, Enough Betrayal
GRS’ narrative is nothing but propaganda — diversions, betrayals, and silence in the face of Sabah’s suffering.
Warisan proved that progress can be achieved in less than three years with political will. GRS has proven that even after five years, nothing changes — except excuses.
We demand answers:
Where is the White Paper on MA63?
Where is the 40% revenue entitlement?
Where is the real progress for Sabahans?
Enough is enough. Sabah’s dignity is not for sale.
