PITAS: The Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat (KDM) will bank on the slogan “Bengkoka Sejahtera,” which is a source of inspiration for its members, to win the Bengkoka state constituency in the upcoming state election (PRN).
According to Gundohing Richard Mazagi, the Kudat KDM Division Chief, the local party is fully equipped to deliver a robust challenge during the PRN.
“We hope that the slogan ‘Bengkoka Sejahtera,’ which outlines KDM’s vision and development agenda, will resonate with the voters of Bengkoka,” he stated in his latest social media post.
Richard, who is the Coordinator of KDM Bengkoka, expressed that KDM’s vision through this slogan encompasses aspects such as enhancing the economy of the people, equitable governance, empowering youth, resolving land issues, accelerating infrastructure development, establishing cultural centres, providing assistance to religious organisations, and constructing village hostels.
He also expressed his readiness to contest in Bengkoka under the KDM banner if given the opportunity.
“As the Head of the Division responsible for expanding KDM to its current level, being selected as a candidate would be a reward for the hard work that has been put in,” he stated.
Richard pointed out that some of the main issues and problems frequently raised by the residents of Bengkoka include unbalanced community governance, poorly planned economic enhancement strategies, and a lack of solutions to the deficiencies present in the area.
He noted that so far, the response from the people of Bengkoka towards KDM has been very encouraging.
“This is evident from the large turnout at every KDM party tour across the 10 PDMs throughout the DUN Bengkoka.
Given the increasing trend of support, Richard is optimistic that KDM can create a surprise in the upcoming PRN.
