BN has never invited PBS to collaborate for PRN

KOTA KINABALU: Barisan Nasional (BN) Sabah has made it clear that they have not offered any partnership to Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) in anticipation of the forthcoming State Election (PRN).

The chairman, Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin, remarked that PBS’s assertion of rejecting cooperation with BN is rather amusing.

“I found it amusing to read the statement from the Acting President of PBS, Datuk Seri Joachim Gunsalam, who claimed that PBS has turned down cooperation with BN for the upcoming Sabah state election.”

“I want to clarify that BN Sabah has never invited PBS to return or to collaborate. Therefore, one must wonder what exactly he (Joachim) is rejecting?

“It seems like yet another instance of political fantasy, where individuals envision discussions and negotiations that never occurred. You cannot reject an offer that was never made, so please do not be overly presumptuous,” he stated in a statement here on Friday.

This statement was made in response to Joachim’s claim that most members of the PBS Supreme Council (AMT) were opposed to collaborating with UMNO-BN for the Sabah state election.
