Anak Negeri asks SESB to immediately restore electricity supply to MRSN Tun Fuad in Sandakan

KOTA KINABALU: Parti Kerjasama Anak Negeri Supreme Council Member, Gundohing Bonik Gatindus, asked the Sabah Government or Sabah Electricity, formerly known as Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd (SESB), to immediately restore the electricity supply to MSRM Tun Fuad at Batu 10 Jalan Labuk Sandakan, which was allegedly cut off on March 10, 2025.

Bonik said cutting the electricity supply to MRSM in Sandakan abruptly may have disrupted and affected teachers and all students studying at the MRSM school.

Bonik said he views the claim made by an individual seen on the video going viral on social media seriously because the person claimed the electricity supply to MRSM Tun Fuad was cut off although the monthly electricity bills have been paid to a company called Sabah Electricity Hub.

Bonik wanted to know whether or not it was true MRSM Tun Fuad and other nearby companies must pay their electricity bills through a private company, not directly to Sabah Electricity.

“I want to know if Sabah Electricity Hub is a private company or a company owned by Sabah Electricity or perhaps both are actually the same company.”

“If indeed it was true MRSM Tun Fuad must pay the electricity bill through a private company, not directly to Sabah Electricity, I want to know why?” he asked.
