Jeffery Nor Mohamed, the Sabah UMNO Election Director, emphasised that everything one possesses today stems from their previous involvement in UMNO.

He also urged for self-reflection, noting that the people of Sabah are currently grappling with severe water shortages, ongoing electricity issues, and persistent infrastructure challenges.

“No significant changes have been made to address these issues,” he said in a statement today.

Jeffery, who is also the Putatan UMNO Chief made these remarks in response to Nizam’s comments questioning how many terms Datuk Bung Moktar Radin has served as the MP for Kinabatangan while the area remains underdeveloped and impoverished.

He pointed out that when comparing the size of the Kinabatangan district to that of the Apas constituency, there are considerable differences in both area and geography.

“Thus, the assessment of development will naturally vary, so Nizam should be realistic,” he added.

In this context, he called on the relevant parties to prioritise resolving the pressing issues facing Sabah rather than assigning blame to specific areas, as “everything is currently under the governance of GRS.”
