BN-PH to fine-tune collaboration ahead of state polls next year— Bung Moktar

KOTA KINABALU: In preparation for the upcoming 17th State Election (PRN), Sabah UMNO Sabah is set to engage in discussions with the Sabah BN Committee to fine-tune and bolster its collaboration with PH.

Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin, the Sabah UMNO chief, emphasised the importance of this partnership at the state level for the success of their electoral alliance.

Following a meeting of the UMNO Sabah Committee on Monday, he highlighted that the discussions are aimed at strategising for the election.

Bung expressed his endorsement of UMNO President Datuk Seri Panglima Ahmad Zahid Hamidi’s remarks, noting that the BN-PH campaign in the Mahkota by-election in Johor will serve as a blueprint for future electoral efforts by the unity government.

He urged state leaders to actively support the Mahkota campaign to enhance BN-PH collaboration and secure a win for the BN candidate.

“The success of this initiative will pave the way for the 17th state election, as Sabah UMNO is confident that the BN-PH alliance will bring about political stability and prosperity for the state,” he stated.
