TUARAN: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor has urged all Sabahans to show strong support for the ruling party GRS and its partnership with Pakatan Harapan (PH) Plus in the upcoming State Election (PRN) expected next year.
He stressed the importance of this backing to ensure that GRS and PH Plus can continue to lead the state.
Hajiji, who is also GRS chairman, reflected on the many challenges he faced during his four years in office, including the political turbulence of last year.
He expressed sincere thanks to PH and allies from Barisan Nasional UMNO for their support, which helped the state government maintain its position during that time.
Based on this experience, Hajiji stated that GRS needs a solid alliance with PH to effectively address the upcoming PRN and stabilise the state’s political situation.
He made these comments during his opening speech at the annual meeting of the Sulaman’s Part Gagasan Rakyat Sabah, here today.
Hajiji pointed out the state government’s many successes, despite criticism from the opposition, especially in sectors like the economy, agriculture, industry, tourism, and rural development.
He also mentioned the government’s dedication to education, including ongoing scholarships for deserving students.
