KOTA KINABALU: Former UMNO Treasurer, Datuk Seri Dr Salleh Said Keruak, has described Barisan Nasional’s (BN) victory in the Nenggiri state by-election as a sign of the resurgence of public support for the party, particularly among the Malay community.
He said that this success in Nenggiri reflects the effectiveness of BN’s strategies and efforts to reconnect with its traditional voter base, yielding positive results.
“This election outcome indicates that BN has successfully re-established its presence and could signal promising prospects for the party in other regions,” said Salleh, who is the Usukan assemblyman, in his latest Facebook post.
Salleh, the former Minister of Communications and Multimedia, emphasised that this development illustrates the appeal of BN’s messages and strategies, potentially indicating a revival of momentum for the party on a national scale.
