Sukau hosts the KKDW’s Village Outreach Programme for the Kinabatangan Parliamentary Constituency

SANDAKAN: The Ministry of Rural Development and Territories (KKDW)’s Village Outreach Programme for the Kinabatangan parliamentary constituency was held in Sukau on Friday.

Sabah Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin said that the programme was jointly organised by KKDW, the Women and Family Affairs Council (HAWA), and several federal government agencies.

During the event, he said that a symbolic handover of appointment ceremony was also held for 2,840 positions of Village Development Committee (JKDM) Chairpersons for 73 state constituencies.

In his latest Facebook post, Bung said that the KKDW Village Outreach Programme aims to envision a better future than the current situation, particularly for the communities in the Sukau and Lamag state seats, respectively.

He added that various activities were organised as part of the KKDW Village Outreach Programme, including exhibitions involving government agencies, especially in the fields of entrepreneurship and business.
