KENINGAU: – A group of volunteers from the Lions Club of Luyang ACE, the Lions Club of Kota Kinabalu Downtown, the Lions Club of Keningau Downtown, the Lions Club of New Century Star City, the Lions Club of Tanjung Aru, the Lions Club of Papar Host, and JCI Tanjung Aru have joined forces to start their first joint initiatives aimed at empowering the future at SK Malaing Sook Keningau.
Supported by esteemed partners such as A-Golden Point Advertising Sdn Bhd, KENINGAU FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE ADVENTURE (KEFDA), Isuzu Sabah, Lions Fundraising Bazaar 1.0, Likas Square, Ming Kiang Sdn Bhd, Miss International Malaysia, New Tech Furniture Sdn Bhd, ONAKI, Polyclinjc TMC, S&M Fashion, and Thomtex Trading Sdn Bhd, the collaborative efforts seek to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals in need.
With a dedicated team of 31 passionate volunteers, all joint club presidents, and the support of 8 units of 4×4 vehicles, the project is poised to make a lasting difference in the community.
The Joint Projects @ Empowering Future initiative will encompass a wide range of activities and programmes aimed at uplifting the underprivileged, including dental care awareness, deworming for children, diabetes screening, and enhancement of classrooms and braries. Through this collaboration, we wish to create a positive and sustainable impact on the community, focusing on areas such as healthcare, education, environmental conservation, and social welfare.
“We believe that by working together, we can achieve greater outcomes and make a more significant difference in the lives of those who need it most,” said organising chairperson Callis Fung. “Through our joint efforts, we hope to empower individuals, inspire positive change, and create a brighter future for our community.”
