BEAUFORT: The Jelajah Amal Berbuka Puasa Program provides the best platform for Kim Teck Cheong Consolidated Berhad to identify suitable candidates for job opportunities in the near future.
its Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Dexter Lau, said that KTC is in need of suitable candidates to fill several vacant positions in order to enhance the company’s productivity in the future.
He said that KTC has already identified several qualified individuals, with a focus on those from rural areas, to serve the company.
“Perhaps there is a lack of information about individuals from rural areas who are familiar with Kim Teck Cheong.
“Despite having branches nationwide, we will balance the workforce in this company to allow more individuals from rural areas to serve in the future,” explained Dexter Lau.
Through this charitable iftar program, Dexter Lau said that KTC, together with the Community Development Leadership Unit (UPPM), will benefit greatly by identifying suitable candidates to serve the company in the near future.
Commenting on the related developments, Dexter Lau said that KTC, in collaboration with UPPM, will continue the Jelajah Amal Berbuka Puasa Program in the future.
He further said that through the 25-day journey of this program, he has learned a lot about the impact of contributions that can bring a little joy to the recipients before the celebration of Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
“I have learned a lot by being able to distribute contributions to over 1500 recipients and provide new clothes to more than 700 children throughout the country.
“This program is truly heartwarming as it allows me to witness the conditions of the recipients and prioritize the less fortunate in the future,” Dexter Lau said.
Also present were Assistant Minister of Local Government and Housing, Datuk Isnin Aliasnih, Assistant Minister of Public Works, Datuk Limus Jury, and Director of UPPM Sabah, Datuk Awang Kadin Tang.
