“Do cooperate with government-linked companies such as Invest Sabah Berhad to bring about significant development in Sabah.

“Gone are the old ways of working. As we worked collectively to overcome the pandemic, let us also work together to bring prosperity to the state in line with the Sabah Maju Jaya vision,” he said at the Invest Sabah Berhad’s breaking of fast ceremony at Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu here on Friday.

Dr. Joachim, who is also the State Local Government and Housing Minister, also urged the people to continue to embody the spirit of resilience and forge ahead with hope, determination, and unity.

“Resilience is the ability to navigate through adversity with grace and determination. It is a quality deeply ingrained in the fabric of our community, and it is what defines us in times of challenge.

“In the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic and its myriad challenges, we have witnessed the remarkable resilience of the human spirit. From frontline workers to ordinary citizens, each one of us has played a part in overcoming obstacles and forging ahead with resilience and strength.

“As we break our fast tonight, let us draw inspiration from the resilience of our community and recommit ourselves to building a better future for Sabah. Let us harness the power of unity, compassion, and solidarity to overcome whatever challenges lie ahead,” he said.
