KOTA KINABALU: Led by the President of Palliative Care Association of Kota Kinabalu (PCAKK), Ms. Ivy Stanislaus, the PCAKK Team called on Datuk Seri Panglima Dr. Joachim Gunsalam, Deputy Chief Minister and State Minister of Housing and Local Government at his office on Wednesday.
During the courtesy call, Dr. Joachim was briefed on the activities of the Palliative Care Association of Kota Kinabalu Home Care Program.
He was also updated on PCAKK’s endeavour to raise funds for their association to run association.
Dr. Joachim gave the Organising Committee his support and a thumbs up for their efforts to raise funds for their association to help those in need.
The Palliative Association of Kota Kinabalu (PCAKK) has been organising its Annual Charity Dinner and Show since 1999 to help raise funds for terminally ill patients under their care.
The association since its formation has helped more than 5,000 patients and their families in their Palliative Care program at no cost.
The upcoming PCAKK Annual Charity Dinner and Show will be held on 24th May 2024 at the Magellan Sutera Resort.
The evening promises an outstanding performance by the Killer
Queen band from Australia, a tribute band to the Band Queen, to mark the 25th Anniversary.
Present at the courtesy call was Datuk Seri Panglima Dr. Joachim Gunsalam and representatives from PCA Kota Kinabalu, Ivy Stanislaus, Datuk Margaret Lim, Datin Elizabeth Lee, James Ngu, Dr. Christiannie Tay, and Benzie Richard George.
