Ewon, along with Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan and Minister of Investment, Trade, and Industry, Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, accompanied the Prime Minister on a five-day working visit (from March 10th to March 15th) to Germany.

The Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (MEDAC) and its agencies, namely SME Bank and SME Corp, also participated in the SME Future Day organised by the German Association for Small and Medium-sized Businesses (Bundesverband mittelständische Wirtschaft, BVMW), starting this Wednesday.

Four small and medium-sized companies from Malaysia and two French companies also took part.

The Prime Minister is expected to visit the ministry booth managed by MEDAC.

After the pre-council meeting, the Malaysian delegation visited Siemens Energy, which is one of the leaders in the hydrogen-based energy sector.

Siemens has investments and collaborations with Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) in Malaysia. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Malaysia have the potential for participation and involvement in the supply chain system of Siemens Energy.

Subsequently, Ewon, along with the Prime Minister and the Malaysian delegation, held a meeting with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier at Bellevue Palace, Berlin.

The meeting aims to further strengthen trade cooperation and diplomatic relations between the two countries.
