Ewon provides an allocation of RM650,000 for Kadamaian churches

KOTA BELUD: Kadamaian assemblyman Datuk Ewon Benedick has allocated RM500,000 for the development of churches in the Kadamaian state constituency this year.

In addition, he has provided an administrative allocation of RM150,000.

Ewon, who is also the Minister of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives, explained that RM100,000 was taken from his touchpoint allocation as a Member of the State Legislative Assembly (ADUN), while another RM50,000 was taken from his special allocation as a minister.

The development allocation will be used for various church-related projects, such as open halls, concrete roads, church buildings, meeting houses, and chairs.

Ewon made this announcement during a visit from the Council of Churches in the Kadamaian area, where he received gratitude from Pastor Chaldie Lauran of the Seventh-day Adventist Church (SDA) for his continuous support and concern for the development of houses of worship in the Kadamaian area.

Ewon also spent time meeting with representatives of residents, associations, and schools during the Customer Meet Day in the Kadamaian area.
