KOTA KINABALU: Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan) has expressed its appreciation for the successful efforts of the Royal Malaysian Police and the Eastern Sabah Security Command (ESSCOM) in dismantling the drug trafficking syndicate in Sabah.
The Deputy Inspector General of Police, Datuk Seri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay, made the announcement regarding this achievement.
In a statement, Warisan Secretary General, Datuk Loretto S. Padua, emphasized the importance of thoroughly investigating individuals suspected of involvement and allowing the court to pass judgment based on the law.
However, Warisan is disappointed by the actions of a few irresponsible parties who have attempted to link the case with the party. These false claims have been circulated through the WhatsApp application, alleging that Warisan receives funds from such illegal activities.
Datuk Loretto S. Padua strongly refuted these baseless accusations, considering them as extreme political slander aimed at tarnishing the reputation of Warisan and its leaders.
Therefore, if such unfounded allegations persist, Warisan will not hesitate to pursue legal action against those who associate the party with any illegal activities or syndicates that violate the law or spread defamation.
