“I would like to see more progress in developing affordable homes.

“The need for affordable housing is a pressing issue, not just in Sabah but around the world. I urge developers to take up this challenge and work towards providing more affordable housing options for our people.

“It is a responsibility of all (developers) and, by working together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of countless individuals and families,” he said when officiating the opening of Alpha Land Development Sdn Bhd’s new office in Donggongon, here, Friday.

Dr Joachim also encourages developers in Sabah to embrace advanced technology in their respective projects.

In today’s rapidly evolving world, he said technology is not just an option, but it is a necessity.

“It can streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall quality of developments. By adopting advanced technology, developers can deliver better results for their clients and contribute to the growth and prosperity of Sabah,” he said.

Dr Joachim congratulated Alpha Land Development for opening its new office and its achievements in the industry.

“I have great confidence in your ability to continue leading the way and setting new standards of excellence.

“I also congratulated Alpha Land Development for being the first developer in Sabah to receive the Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC), which is a significant achievement as it reflects your dedication to delivering a high-quality development,” he said, adding it is also a positive step forward for the Sabah property industry.

CCC is a symbol of trust and reliability, he further explained, adding it assures buyers and investors that the properties they invest in meet the highest safety and quality standards.

“This is not only good for Alpha Land Development but for the entire Sabah property industry. When one developer raises the bar and sets a new standard for quality, it inspires others to do the same. It creates a healthy and competitive environment that benefits everyone involved – from developers to buyers and the community at large,” he said.

Hoping Alpha Land Development will continue to assist in shaping the future of the Sabah property industry, he said the company’s dedication to innovation and quality is a testament to its commitment to excellence, which he is confident that the company will continue to lead by example.

Also present were the Managing Director of Alpha Land Development Sdn Bhd, Ir Edwin Fong Kim Wai; the founder President of Small Medium Enterprise (SME) Sabah, Datuk Professor Foo Ngee Kee; Executive Officer Council from Tenom, Papar, Tambunan, Penampang, Keningau; and the founder of Federation of Sabah Industries, DR.
