KOTA KINABALU: Embracing diversity is crucial in building a harmonious, peaceful, and prosperous Sabah. As a community, we should celebrate and appreciate the unique gifts that each of our cultures contributes to our society, and reject any form of discrimination based on race, religion, or ethnicity. Racism has no place in our state, and we must stand firm in our commitment to creating an inclusive and respectful environment for everyone.
By respecting and valuing the different customs and practices of our multi-ethnic society, we can preserve our heritage while forging a more united future. We must recognize that our diversity is an asset and that working together can yield greater contributions to our society and economy.
Let us embrace our differences and learn from one another. As we deepen our understanding and appreciation of each other’s differences, we can build a stronger Sabah, where every individual is respected and valued. Racism has no place in Sabah. Together, let us work towards creating a future that is inclusive, prosperous, and peaceful for all.
Let us not allow ignorance to cloud our judgment and divide us as a community. We can achieve greater things through unity, respect, and understanding
