KOTA KINABALU: People’s support for Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (Gagasan Rakyat) is increasing as the membership has reached 300,000 people.
Gagasan Rakyat president Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor said this shows that Gagasan Rakyat is well-received by the people of this state.
“People’s support for Gagasan Rakyat is very encouraging, and in just a few months, the number of members has rocketed to 300,000,” he said.
He told reporters after chairing the Gagasan Rakyat Supreme Council meeting here today.
Hajiji said the party would hold divisional meetings in stages from September 23 to October 15.
He said the party’s first general assembly meeting is scheduled to be held at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) for two days starting on November 13.
He said all delegates from 23 divisions would attend the general meeting.
Meanwhile, Hajiji named Rosli Awang Damit as Labuan Gagasan Rakyat Protem Chief.
