BN-PH set to make inroads in Kelantan, Terengganu and Kedah – Mohd Rafi

At the same time, UMNO Supreme Council member Datuk Mohd Rafi Ali Hassan said
there is also a wave of support for the BN-PH coalition that wants to change leadership in Kedah, Terengganu and Kelantan.

He said that when the two largest political party coalitions are formed, the number of seats likely to be won in Selangor, Penang, and Negeri Sembilan will increase.

Mohd Rafi said BN-PH won the most seats in Negeri Sembilan, while Perikatan Nasional (PN) lost in the last 14th election.

“When we went down to help the campaign in the state of Kedah, it seemed that waves and changes had already started to be felt in the states of Kelantan, Terengganu, and Kedah when the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, was there.

“Tens of thousands of people and voters came to listen to the talks in the Unity Government tour series involving the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi,” he said here today.

Mohd Rafi, who is also the Labuan UMNO Division Chief, said voters in Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu desperately need a unity government to ensure that infrastructure issues, including water supply and development development, can be resolved immediately.

He said people living in three states know more about water issues than people outside of the states.

“When voters living in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, return to vote, they will vote for the opposition party.”

“But the people who find it difficult in these three states are their parents.” That’s why big changes will happen after voters elect a unity government on August 12, said Mohd Rafi.
