Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate for Libaran Parliament, Datuk Suhaimi Nasir said the desire of the people to try and elect a new government in the general election is enough to teach everyone a lesson.

“Let’s not repeat it again, it’s enough for us to try a new government in 2018.

“Before that, the people received various assistance such as Bantuan Rakyat 1Malaysia, allowance for fishermen, school assistance and so forth.

“However, after the people elected Pakatan Harapan (PH), such aids were abolished. In fact, their manifesto was not fulfilled,” he said.

He said this during a campaign session at Kampung Gum-Gum Sri Manis here, on Sunday morning.

In this regard, Suhaimi invited people of Libaran to return their votes and support to BN, which is proven to have a good track record in defending the people’s destiny and developing the country.

“We are grateful that after Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri was appointed as Prime Minister, various aids were channeled back to the people. In fact, some aids were improved such as the Bantuan Keluarga Malaysia,” he explained.

Meanwhile, villagers expressed their strong support towards Suhaimi and BN for the continuation of development for the grassroots.

Residents believe that leaders who are in line with the government will be able to bring infrastructure and social development in addition to defend the welfare of the people of Libaran, especially the villagers.

Earlier, Suhaimi spent his time with voters and traders through a walkabout session at Tamu Gum-Gum and Bandar Sibuga Batu 8.
