KOTA KINABALU: Former Sekong state assemblyman Datuk Samsuddin Yahya passed away on Thursday.

He was reported to have died while on a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu.
He was 68 years old.
Sabah Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin offered his condolences via socia media.
“Condolences to Datin Junaidah Aji and Allahyarham’s family and may he be placed among the faithful,” he said in his latest Face Book posting.
Samsuddin served as assemblyman for three terms before being defeated in the 14th General Election (GE14).
