KOTA KINABALU: The State Government and Sabah Veteran Affairs Department received donations from philantropist, Tan Sri Lee Kim Yew in the form of medical devices and food baskets on Wednesday.
Lee handed over the donation of 30 oxygen concentrator machines, 20,000 face masks and herbs to Chief Minister Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Haji Noor in a brief ceremony at Menara Kinabalu here.
The oxygen concentrator machines would be use in hospitals in Sabah.
Hajiji also presented the 5,000 food baskets from Lee to Veteran Affairs Department Director General Major General Datuk Dzulkarnain Ahmad that will be distributed to the department’s branches in Sabah.
State Secretary Datuk Seri Panglima Sr Safar Untong was also present.
