KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Football Association (SAFA) hopes to set up a junior football academy to develop the sport in the state.
The junior football academy will be called Bung Moktar Radin Academy after the present Safa president Dato Sri Bung Moktar Radin.
Plans to have the academy has been made possible following the cooperation of Sabah FA and the Sports Council (SSC) and the State Education Department, said Safa Vice President, Datuk Suhaimi Nasir.
