RANAU: The concrete bridge running across Sungai Tahubang in Ranau collapses at about 5.30am.

Early report from the Ranau Public Works Department said that the incident was caused by erosion to the bridge abutment.
As a result, hundreds of people who utilises the bridge, which connects Kampung Kenipir Gana to Gana Gaur daily, are now stranded.
Ranau PWD said that the road is impassable by all types of vehicles and that there are no alternative routes yet.
No loss of lives were reported.
