KOTA KINABALU: Mosques and other worship houses will be allowed to welcome more congregants for worship activities beginning Feb 19.

Local Government and Housing Minister, Datuk Seri Panglima Masidi Manjun however said that only 1/3 of the mosques and worship houses’ capacity are allowed.
At the same time, tight adherence to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) is necessary, he said.
This includes necessitating congregants to record their attendance either through the MySejahtera pr sabahtraces or log book; provide a counter at the hall’s entrance to carry out temperature checks; ensuring all members of the congregation wears a mask; and to ensure they wash their hands often.
