KOTA KINABALU: The Persatuan Industri Kecil Dan Sederhana Wanita Sabah (IKSnita) will hold a two-day Women Digital Entrepreneurs Summit here from Dec 4 this year.
Apart from that, the association will also hold the Rural Women Business Challenge from January to March next year, in conjunction with next year’s International Women’s Day.
Deputy Chief Minister cum Industrial Development Minister, Datuk Dr Joachim Gunsalam was briefed on these by IKSnita President, Datuk Dayang Hajah Khatijah Datu Haji Bachtiyal during IKSnita’s courtesy call on him at his office in Wisma Kewangan, yesterday.
Khatijah also explained to him about IKSnita, a non-governmental organisation (NGO) which focuses on women entrepreneurs and asked for support from the ministry about their programmes and activities.
