KUALA LUMPUR: The Chief Minister of Sabah, Datuk Seri Panglima, is at the helm of the state’s delegation attending the 2026 MADANI Government Retreat, which is taking place over two days at the KWSP Learning Center in Bangi, starting from January 10.
The Sabah delegation included Deputy Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Joachim Gunsalam, Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun, Minister of Local Government and Housing, and Datuk Mohd Arifin Mohd Arif.
The retreat commenced with a keynote address deliverd by Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, on the first day.
On the second day, Hajiji presented a discussion paper addressing current issues of public interest from Sabah’s perspective, including development challenges and the specific needs of the state within the MADANI Government framework.
The retreat also included all federal cabinet ministers to align the policy direction and priorities of the MADANI Government administration for the year 2026.
