KOTA KINABALU: Politics transcends the mere pursuit of positions and is fundamentally about adhering to ideology, principles, and purpose, said former Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Dr Salleh Said Keruak
He emphasised that a political party serves merely as the means to achieve this mission.
“The objective is to unite individuals in the effort to create a just and dignified society.
“This principle underpins the Orang Sabah No. 1 struggle — a dedication to the state and its citizens,” he stated in his recent Facebook update.
Salleh acknowledged that the political journey is fraught with challenges, yet every action counts, as even minor contributions can propel society towards a brighter future.
