KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Hj Noor has demonstrated elements of his clever political approach in addressing the dissatisfaction following the establishment of the state government.
Former state assemblyman Datuk James Ligunjang remarked that this astute maneuver has effectively countered UMNO/BN, STAR, and Warisan, thwarting their efforts to destabilize the state government for the next five years.
Ligunjang noted that Hajiji has strategically included one member from UMNO in the Cabinet and appointed an assistant minister from STAR.
“Any efforts by their respective parties to collaborate with Warisan to weaken the GRS-led government will be decisively opposed by their party members within the government,” he stated in his latest social media post.
In the meantime, 17 Assistant Ministers of Sabah took their oaths today, and six nominated assemblymen (ADUN) received their appointment letters during a swearing-in ceremony at the Istana Seri Kinabalu.
