BN Committed to Continuing Holistic Development Agenda for Sabah, Says BN Candidate for Kemabong Rahmah Jan

TENOM: The Barisan Nasional (BN) pledge to implement the Sabah Development Plan One (RPS1), including in the Kemabong constituency, is deemed realistic if the coalition successfully forms the government after the upcoming 17th Sabah State Election.

BN candidate for Kemabong, Datuk Rahmah Jan Sulaiman, welcomed the details of the manifesto, describing it as holistic to ensure that the people are supported through various platforms.

She praised the coalition’s commitment to enhancing infrastructure development, including the construction of village roads in Kemabong, and completing the Pan Borneo road within five years.

“BN does not promise the moon and stars, but there are many efforts within it aimed at strengthening governance in terms of rural development implementation, including in the Kemabong constituency.

“Numerous initiatives have been introduced, especially for the youth, including free higher education, upskilling, skills training, youth business funds, housing for youth, youth transit homes, and the ‘Sayangi Wanita’ scheme.

“This is crucial for strengthening the economy, with priority given to the prospects of youth in terms of training and higher education,” she stated while campaigning in the Kemabong constituency on Saturday.

Regarding welfare aspects, Rahmah Jan mentioned that many protections are provided to eligible citizens, including free health protection schemes, particularly for the B40 group.

“Therefore, let us unite to ensure the BN candidate wins significantly in the Kemabong constituency for a better future for the people,” she concluded.
