SANDAKAN: A total of 50 members of Warisan have decided to join the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS).
All of them are members of the Warisan Branch from Kampung Peringkat Dua, Sungai Manila.
Their application forms were submitted to the GRS candidate for the Sungai Manila state constituency, Hazem Mubarak Musa, here on Wednesday.
The group is led by Asmat Omar, who is the branch leader of Warisan in the village.
Asmat stated that the decision was made after observing Hazem’s commitment and dedication to assisting the people of Sungai Manila.
“Our decision to leave Warisan and join GRS is the right one.
“We have been with Warisan for a long time… this time we are joining GRS and are confident that GRS can develop this area,” he added.
