TONGOD: “What is the problem with the cement factory built in the forest? We will never build the city,” said Borneo Cemet Sabah (BCS) Sdn Bhd Chairman Datuk Masiung.
“It is not better for the industrial zone of the cement factory in the forest … if we build a nearby city, it will cause the problem of Pepajal residues and pollution that Krdara Krdara Krdara Krdara Krdara Krite Krite Kreatital.
“In addition to limestone, component materials used in cement, such as clay, sand and stone, are found in the factory industrial zone,” he said.
Masiung was questioned by the media after opening the Sabah People’s Coalition (GRS) in Kampung Sogo-Sogo, on the issue raised by Old People’s Representative Datuk Seri Bung Mokhtar Radin.
Bung, in a cynical tone, questioned the cement and described it as possible to operate as it was set up in a forest area without electricity, air and road access.
The Sabah Umno liaison chief also claimed that the main investor in the cement factory had also drawn thorns, but there was logging in the area.
Masiung, who is also a representative of the people of Kuamut, was wondering why the barang was created by the Sengang factory while it was a broad economic impact member to the Tongod citizens.
