Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor stressed that this challenge is one that must be addressed head-on.

He noted that such challenges arise in conjunction with the rapid advancements in science and technology, as well as the evolution of human civilisation.

As the chairman of GRS, Hajiji pointed out that the opposition is attempting to manipulate public perception to foster animosity towards the government and its leadership, particularly in this age of advanced technology where social media and artificial intelligence significantly influence daily life.

Consequently, he urged all members of the GRS-PH government to come together to refute the falsehoods and slanders directed at the current state administration.

In this context, Hajiji expressed confidence in the LDP’s ability to play a pivotal role in countering the propaganda and unethical tactics employed by the opposition.

He made these remarks during his address at the LDP annual general meeting held at Kian Kok Hall on Sunday.

Additionally, Hajiji conveyed his belief that the LDP, now celebrating its 35th anniversary, can offer valuable insights and experiences to further enhance unity within GRS.

Meanwhile, LDP president Datuk Chin Su Phin expressed hope that the party will be allocated seats with a majority of Chinese voters in the forthcoming state election, stating that the decision will ultimately rest with the Chief Minister when the time is right.
