KOTA KINABALU: Kolej Teknologi Yayasan Sabah (KTYS) always supports the Alumni Association through the provision of annual grants.
The annual grant of RM3,500 was presented by KTYS CEO Samin Ongki to KTYS Alumni Association President Mohd Pkhruddin Bian at a ceremony held at the KTYS Campus in Sembulan on Friday.
During a meeting with the Alumni Association Committee, Samin expressed his hope that the association would focus on activities that would attract young people to continue their studies at KTYS.
He said that KTYS offers various self-skills programmes and serves as a platform for further studies at universities.
Samin also suggested that alumni organise programmes and activities such as sports and recreational activities to strengthen the relationship between staff, students, and KTYS alumni.
Meanwhile, Mohd Pkhruddin informed me that the alumni association has planned activities throughout the year 2024.
He said that among the planned programmes are blood donation campaigns, welfare activities, sports, and recreation.
