KOTA KINABALU: Former Federal Minister Datuk Seri Dr Salleh Said Keruak expressed his belief that the current coalition in the Unity Government is performing well and should continue to do so.
He emphasised that a wise politician should not assess the future prospects of the current coalition, as it is currently serving its political interests effectively.
*Our focus should not be on whether individuals within the coalition are innocent or guilty, popular or unpopular. Instead, we should prioritise our political interests and consider what is best for us,” he said in his latest Facebook post.
Salleh asserted that the present coalition is dedicated to governing the country and serving the people.
The former Sabah chief minister urged everyone to concentrate on addressing today’s challenges and utilising ‘our time and resources for the betterment of the people’.
Salleh made it clear that the question of who and how our future coalition should be formed is not relevant at this moment.
He cautioned that engaging in a debate on this matter would only benefit political adversaries.
