Other dignitaries, including UMNO Secretary General Datuk Dr Asyraf Dusuki, Sabah Umno Liaison Committee Chairman Datuk Seri Panglima Bung Moktar Radin, Sabah Umno Secretary Datuk Jafry Arifin, and several Umno Divisional Leaders, also visited the remains.

Ahmad Zahid, who is also the President of UMNO, initially planned to attend the launch of the Kadamaian Development Plan and the Christmas Open House celebration at Kadamaian Square in Taginambur.

However, he took the time to stop at the late family’s home in the village of Tambulion Sorob for nearly two hours.

Ahmad Zahid joined other pilgrims in performing the funeral prayer and expressed his condolences to the family, particularly Azuwan, the head of Kota Belud Umno, who lost his beloved father.

Ahmad Zahid urged the family to remain patient in accepting their loss.

Sabah Umno Liaison Committee Chairman Datuk Seri Panglima Bung Moktar Radin echoed similar sentiments and encouraged the family to find solace in God’s provisions.

Azuwan, speaking on behalf of the family, expressed deep appreciation and gratitude to Ahmad Zahid, Bung Moktar, and the leadership of Umno and Umno Sabah for taking the time to visit.

Despite their busy schedules, they made the effort to offer their condolences.
