Peter also expressed his gratitude to Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Haji Amirudin Shari for his willingness to help the people of Sabah and Sarawak who reside in the state in terms of welfare and infrastructure.

“Grateful and thankful for YAB Menteri Besar’s concern at the last Santai Kaamatan Selangor on July 16, 2023, held at Taman Seri Muda Shah Alam,, YAB Menteri Besar has promised to help our brothers from Sabah and Sarawak especially in terms of welfare, infrastructure and also the construction, of an Open Multipurpose Hall at Taman Seri Muda for the use of Sabahans and Serawaks who live and work in Selangor for the convenience of holding programs and public events in the future,” he said in his latest Facebook posting,

In a campaign speech in Gombak Setia on Tuesday night, Peter, who is also Melalap assemblyman, also emphasised the need for “Political Ceasefire” to be embraced after the state election to save the country from endless political turmoil.

According to him, this is in line with the orders of His Majesty the King, and at the same time, gives space and opportunity to Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim to manage and administer this beloved country.

“Together we pray that the state election process in these six states runs smoothly and hope everything goes well,” he said.

Also present were Amirudin, Gombak Setia Candidate Datuk Wira Megat Zulkarnain and party leaders in the Unity Government.
