SANDAKAN: GRS candidate Lau Chi Keong @ Thomas Lau has once again appealed to Sandakan electorates to rally behind him to initiate changes for the betterment of Sandakan.
Lau called on Sandakan folks to put aside their emotions when casting their votes and choose wisely because the future of the younger generation and Sandakan is in their hands.
“Give me the mandate to serve you as Member of Parliament and I assure you with my experience in the civil service and business, I can deliver and fulfil the needs of Sandakan people,” Lau said during a special interview at his campaign operations room on Wednesday.
Lau believes he is capable to instigate positive changes for the good of Sandakan particularly younger generation if he wins this election.
I have plans to boost Sandakan’s stagnant economy, bring in investors, provide more higher learning facilities, better healthcare, basic facilities, better housing, create a better environment conducive for businesses, employment opportunities, assist needy groups, he said.
“Age will not be an obstacle for me to carry out my responsibilities as an elected representative. I will fulfil my election pledges to the Sandakan people, not overnight but in due course of the five year term,” Lau said.
Lau ended the interview session by making another humble appeal to Sandakan people to vote for him and GRS this Nov 19 for a better tomorrow for everyone in Sandakan.
