The upcoming Aidilfitri serves as a time for reflection on the values cultivated during Ramadan –  Salleh

KOTA KINABALU: The approaching Aidilfitri is not just a celebration of triumph, but also an opportunity to contemplate the principles embraced by the community throughout Ramadan, stated former Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Dr Salleh Said Keruak.

“As Ramadan comes to a close, we have spent a month learning about patience, sincerity, and moderation in our lives.

“Syawal serves as a reminder of the significance of forgiveness, the strengthening of relationships, and the appreciation of unity within our community,” he expressed in a post on Facebook.

According to Salleh, the most valuable aspect of life is not what we own, but rather the relationships we cultivate.

“May the forthcoming Syawal bring us closer together and reinforce the bonds among us.

“As Syawal draws near, I wish everyone a Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri and ask for forgiveness for any shortcomings, both visible and hidden,” he added.
