KOTA KINABALU: Jeffery Nor Mohamad, the head of UMNO Putatan, has expressed his support for the appointment of Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor as the Chairman of Tanjung Aru Eco Development (TAED).
As a resident of the Putatan parliamentary area, which includes Tanjung Aru, he fully agrees with this timely appointment.
“We welcome the Chief Minister of Sabah’s appointment as Chairman of TAED.
“It is high time for this project to be executed effectively and promptly, as it has been pending for quite a while,” he stated in a press release.
Jeffery is confident that a win-win situation will be achieved for the residents of Tanjung Aru.
“The Chief Minister understands how to successfully implement this project due to his executive power and social influence, which will help address local issues in a mutually beneficial manner,” he remarked.
Jeffery hopes that the development issues surrounding the TAED project will be managed well, ultimately benefiting the local community and the people of Sabah as a whole.
Earlier, Hajiji was quoted as saying that the development agenda in the Tanjung Aru area will continue in a planned and sustainable manner, prioritizing a balance between urban development, the welfare of the people, and environmental preservation, especially for the residents of Kota Kinabalu.
