KDM’s Paginatan assemblyman appointed Sabah Credit Corporation chairman

KOTA KINABALU: Datuk Rusdin Riman, the assemblyman for Paginatan, has been appointed as the chairman of the Sabah Credit Corporation (SCC).

Following his appointment, the only KDM assemblyman paid a courtesy visit to Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun at his office on Thursday.

The visit aimed to reinforce the strategic partnership between the Sabah State Government and SCC.

During their meeting, Masidi, who also serves as the Minister of Finance, was updated on SCC’s current performance, its future direction, and its ongoing contributions to the state’s inclusive economic development agenda.

Masidi took the opportunity to congratulate Rusdin on his new role as SCC chairman.

He expressed his belief that the new chairman would successfully meet the responsibilities entrusted to him and continue to advance SCC’s role in supporting the state’s economic growth.

Masidi also acknowledged SCC’s dedication to fostering economic growth in Sabah and highlighted the significance of good governance and careful financial management to ensure that every initiative has a beneficial effect on the people’s welfare.

Joining the visit were Assistant Minister of Finance II, Datuk Ishak Ayub; Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, Datuk Mohd Sofian Alfian Nair; and CEO of SCC, Datuk George Taitim Tulas.
