KOTA KINABALU: Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (PGRS) Tambunan divisional head Dato’ Victor Peter Paut has presented a donation of RM2,000 to the Malaysian Armed Forces Veterans Association (PVATM) Tambunan Branch.
The donation presentation ceremony was held during a courtesy visit by PVATM, led by Oliver Olang, the Head of the PVATM Tambunan Branch, along with nine (9) committee members at Victor’s office in Kota Kinabalu on Tuesday.
Victor, who is also the patron of PVATM Tambunan, said the donation was to fund the activities and welfare of the association’s members.
“PGRS Tambunan believes that the services and sacrifices of the veterans are of great value to the country. Therefore, efforts to empower their welfare will continue to be given attention through strategic collaboration with related organisations.
PGRS Tambunan will continue to be committed to fighting for unity, the welfare of the people, and sustainable development in the Tambunan district for the sake of common prosperity,” he said.
In conjunction with the courtesy visit, PVTM also expressed its congratulations and well wishes to Victor on his appointment as Deputy Chairman of Sawit Kinabalu Sdn Bhd and Borneo Samudera Sdn Bhd.
The courtesy visit took place in a friendly atmosphere and was full of goodwill. This meeting reflected the close relationship between the community leadership, military veterans, and the party who are always committed to fighting for the welfare of the people.
