SANDAKAN – Henley Liew Yun Ye, the candidate for the SAPP Tanjong Papat state seat, has been described by his campaign manager as a consistent, articulate, and highly qualified planner with a clear roadmap to revitalise the district.
In a statement today, campaign manager Thomas Lau Chi Keong underscored Liew’s forthright approach to key local issues, particularly the struggling economy and persistent infrastructure problems such as water and electricity supply.
“Henley has been consistent. He is articulate and honest in his approach to fundamental questions facing our community,” said Lau, highlighting the candidate’s methodical nature.
“He is aptly qualified and a planner in thoughts. He has a plan, a roadmap for how to make Sandakan work again.”
Lau positioned Liew as a tireless worker for the constituency, stating,
“There will be no holiday for him if he is elected. Sandakan has been neglected for too long, and the past is gone. Let him be the first to torch the light of fire for Sandakan’s redevelopment and the revival of its economy.”
The campaign manager expressed strong confidence in Liew’s proposed development strategy, which includes a six-point plan.
Lau believes these measures will initiate concrete and actionable steps to address the long-standing challenges in Sandakan.
Concluding his appeal, Lau called on the electorates of Tanjong Papat to grant Henley Liew Yun Ye the mandate in the upcoming election on 29 November, empowering him to fulfill his promises for the people of Sandakan.
