BN candidate Rahmah Jan aims to elevate Kemabong to a full district

TENOM: Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate Datuk Rahmah Jan Sulaiman is committed to fulfilling the people’s aspirations to establish Kemabong as a full district if given the mandate in the Sabah State Election on November 29.

She said that upgrading Kemabong to a full district is one of the seven core pillars of the manifesto aimed at enhancing development in the area.

“When Kemabong is designated as a full district, other facilities such as health clinics, police stations, and sports facilities will also be upgraded, along with more efficient governance,” she mentioned in her latest social media post.

Approachable and friendly, Rahmah Jan has also set a goal to ensure better road facilities.

She noted that this includes upgrading village roads and consistent maintenance to facilitate the movement of the people and economic activities.

She added that the other five pillars of the manifesto include improving water, electricity, and internet access, providing quality education for all, empowering the rural economy, exploring new tourism products as economic catalysts, and expanding housing assistance, especially for affordable homes.

“These are part of my vision and mission for the Kemabong state assembly if elected as the people’s representative here.

“I pledge to ensure rural development for the well-being of the community,” he stated.

Rahmah Jan urged the people of Kemabong to unite under BN and not to be easily swayed by the propaganda of opponents trying to mislead their thoughts.

She noted that after a week of campaigning, the public’s response to BN has been very encouraging, and she hopes to recapture the Kemabong seat, which was once a stronghold of BN/UMNO.
